St. John Henry Newman Society

The YSU Newman Center is a community of faith whose mission is to build up the kingdom of God by engaging students in the practice of their faith.

Your donations will help our students through worship, evangelization, service, and education. We form students to be mature disciples of Christ who are prepared for the life to which God calls them.

Our vision is to bring students to the Sacred Heart of Christ by building a Dominican ministry that will last for years to come.
 

The St. John Henry Newman Society is a group that offers monthly giving to the Catholic Penguins as a form of financial support. The mission of our ministry is crucial for the long-term growth of our Diocese. There is a great need for bringing God’s grace to the secular campus and inviting students to partake in an organization that allows their faith life to thrive. By giving monthly, you help support our budgeting and planning for student activities.

We are not connected with a parish, so this program fills the gap of what a weekly offertory would provide.
